BYU Independent Study (online) help?

I am currently wrapping up my high school independent study course at BYU online and I noticed there is an option to "resubmit an assignment." Does this mean the same as retake the assignment or is it more for like technological errors with the corrections? Please help because I would like to fix one assignment but I don't want to waste $10 either haha. Thank you!! :)
