Do you think someone like jimmer fredette has to deal with more than black basketball player would have to?

I read an article recently by rick reily about jimmer fredette being slow,no hops and horrible defense. Scouts say fredette has good speed,decent hops and because of byu needing scoring and how they play defense fredette doesn't show his on ball defense much. It seems like the critics only see white skin and assume he's unathletic and can't play defense!
